Production orders travel from SAP to the line. Cycles, states and stops travel back from the controllers through SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo) and OPC UA. OEE is measured from the machine, not estimated from paper.

Technicians work from a mobile application: their orders, checklists, spare parts and confirmations. Planners run the maintenance module from a web interface: planning, scheduling and preventive maintenance. Both write to SAP PM.
