AI-assisted sales order creation

Customer purchase orders are read by AI agents that resolve part numbers to SAP materials and pull prices from the quotation. The sales desk confirms in one fast web screen, and the order is created in SAP.

Business challenge

A customer order arrived as a PDF written in the customer's own part numbers, referring to a quotation sent weeks earlier. The sales desk looked up every line, found the internal material number, checked the quoted price and typed the order into SAP. Large orders took hours, and a wrong material was discovered only at delivery.

Solution

Futera built a web application with AI agents behind it. One agent reads the incoming document. A second resolves each customer part number to the SAP material, using customer-material records, order history and product descriptions, and states how confident it is. A third finds the matching quotation and pulls prices, conditions and validity. The sales desk sees the order exactly as it will be created, with the source and confidence of every line, corrects what needs correcting, and creates the sales order in SAP with one click. Corrections are remembered for the next order from that customer.
