Business challenge
Shipment status lives in forwarder emails, carrier portals and spreadsheets. Planners cannot see which purchase orders are on which container or when they will really arrive.
Solution
Shipping documents are extracted and linked to purchase orders and containers. Tracking events are collected through APIs and attached to the same shipment. SAP shows each shipment with its documents, contents and current status, and planning sees realistic arrival dates.
